Talking of Eastenders ,
Which, apparently, you're not I seem to be the only person To have lost the plot . I mean this in a literal sense , 'Cos what is bugging me Last night they went and put a football Match on our TV ! At seven thirty , when by rights Eastenders should be on Up here we found we only had Football to gaze upon . "How dare they treat us so! ", I cried , I was extremely vexed. At this point in the tale we need To know what happens next ! I thought it might be shown tonight , But football's on again Which only goes to prove the BBC Is run by men . Written by Anny |

Oh Anny please don't fret
Because you missed the blessed soap The Omnibus is on Sunday So to see it there's still hope. Me ? I can't be bothered With the like of Grunt and Phil And Peggy, Sharon Chrissy Den Used to watch 'em....had my fill. It's always in the paper Who's done what to who and when So one quick read and I've caught up Oh - what happened to Den ? Oh that's right he got killed again And this time can't be saved But funniest sight was Chrissy When she tumbled in his grave ! Before you think I watch this But won't admit to you I visited my Mum and she's an addict The Street,Emmerdale too ! So when I got to see her I get to have my fill Of soaps - Mum watches everything Especially Grunt and Phil ! Good to see you Anny. Written by Petal |

It's about time someone told the truth
Eastenders is just pants Espeshly with the reappearance Of Fat old Phil and Grant. Just looking at the two of them Is really such a drag Together they can't punch their way Out of a Tesco's bag They're just about as scary As little tweety pie And everyone's so terrified I really wonder why I was feeling quite depressed Depression's wave was tidal But the sight of Phil and Grant running Has made me suicidal Now good old Corrie makes me laugh With all its twists and turns With Martin, he's in lurv again He never, ever learns And Gail as coy as coy can be But acting like a vamp All in the hope of bedding Phil Who looks awfully like a tramp He hasn't had a decent shave Since he has joined the street Maybe a shave is not important When you're doing feet But Gail and Phil together Make a lovely, dippy pair Can't wait to see next episode Half seven. I'll be there. God bless Moogaloo |

Nice to see you Mary
Glad you're back among the clan I nearly wasn't here today Things didn't go to plan. My pooter started playing up Last night.....no dial up tone It said...I thought 'that's funny' Cos I can use my phone.' But last night on 1571 A message was left for me I heard it, didn't delete it Could this the problem be ? Cos when I tried this morning To log on 'no dial up tone' My pooter said, so once again I thought I'd check my phone. I got rid of the message left Then I logged on once more Lo and behold, I got connected For how long I'm not sure ! I someone rings me on my phone Will 'disconnect' occur Until the messages have gone ? If so, its quite absurd. It really drives me barmy Not knowing , day to day If I can get on line or not To my precious AA. So if I'm not about folks You'll know the reason why Me and my computer Will have said a sad 'bye bye' Written by Petal |

It's a been a week since we moved here
I've found my way around Surprise, surprise I didn't get lost Easier than I thought, I found. I've tried to add new stuff on here History, customs and stuff But now I've lost my Google page Wanadoo aint good enough ! I started off with Google first Then somehow it disappeared Wanadoo was there instead Not much on there I fear. I've been back to the old site Several times this week With tissues in a box handy Just in case I should weep. I glanced around, it looked so sad No-one was there you see Like peering in an empty house Nobody there but me. Mollie came a few times And we had a laugh or too I wanted to add a poem But I just could not get through. Oh well, times change and we move on And now I'm glad I'm here With all the mates I met before And now hold oh so dear. Thanks AA1 for being there For a little soul like me You gave me comfort when I was sad And helped me with my tree. You were a second home and I Was lucky you were there With members of such like minds Who I know really care. Well, now we've all move over Things are much as before Except now we've got square smilies Do I like them ? I'm not sure. My avatar's just perfect for me Petal, like my name But I keep forgetting to pop in And play the old word games. I've rambled on enough I think So here I'll end this rhyme With thanks to AA's one and two This site I think's just fine ! Written by Petal |

I somehow thought you'd feel like me
'Bout the old site, but hey, We haven't left our mates behind They're on this new AA. So let's not cry..though a tear just dropped Memories they'll always be Without that little old site Well now, where would I be ? I'd be stuck on my Family Tree And Shan would have stayed sane Without my endless list of Pendereds Not to mention other names ! I'd have had no one to chat to Chat rooms ? They were taboo Least they were in my book Till I came here and met you. I'd have never written my poems Though some a bit absurd ! And thanks to Geoff a novel's done I loved writing every word. The things I've done are endless And its all thanks to AA So AA2 I'm afraid you're stuck Cos I'll be here every day ! Written by Petal |

I've put away my hankies
And carefully planned my day I've christmas cards to make As well as posting on AA. I went and bought some index cards A new system to use I thought it might be easier Locating names, who's who. It's just the chore of writing out The Pendereds that I've got Along with Haddons Smiths and Sanders Oh there seems a lot !! But this is something I have said I'd do ......and do I must I promised I'd get organised Not let things gather dust. I dont mean in the cleaning sense Oh no, no, no, not me ! I mean getting my projects done About my Family Tree. Instead of sitting thinking 'Cos that won't get them done I do it.....well I did my folders And that was lots of fun. Finding all the pictures To represent kith and kin Index cards ? decorate them ? I'll see when I begin. Maybe I will, maybe I won't Depends much on my mood And now I'm off cos nothing rhymes With mood.....except food and rude !! Written by Petal |
