Default Guildren Parish, Nr. Monkton, Pembroke.

Guildren Parish, nr. Monkton, Pembroke is mentioned in the name of the place that of two of my Grand Parents family relatives were born.
But I cannot actually find this parish in any of the records for Pembroke / Monkton Church History.
So I am wondering if there are any other researcher who has come across this place / Parish, and if so, know exactly where it was ?

    hi again genolad

To local knowledge there is no parish called Guildren in Pembrokeshire. The nearest that can be established is the small non-conformist chapel at Gilead contained at Hundleton which is in Monkton. If you give me the Names of the people you are researching dates of birth etc my friend and i maybe be able to place them for you.

    kind regards

    Lass

as per previous pm's where you said Owen had helped you a few times, i understand you have been given this information already.

As I explained to you previous there is not and never was such a Parish as
Guilderan. Jane Hopla was baptised at Monkton parish church in 1848. The only
George Hopla that I am aware of was baptised at Pwllcrochan in 1857. Philip
Hopla was baptised at Rhoscrowther in 1817.

I have not got a clue what "Forniginnet" refers to ?

All the above are baptism, I have no references to the dates of birth for those
    listed.

Phillip shown above was baptised on the 26 Sep 1817 the son of John & Elizabeth
Hopla. John Hopla a labourer mrd Elizabeth Bateman at Pwlcrochan 02 Nov 1816

Jane Hopla was baptised at Monkton St Nicholas 10 Dec 1848 to John & Catherine
Hopla. John Hopla mrd Catherine Edwards in the Pembroke Registration District
in the 4th Qtr of 1845, probably at Monkton. I can confirm the mrge did not
take place in Pembroke St Mary or St Michael although 3 Hopla’s did marry in
the later all of them shoemakers.

There is no reference to George Hopla of 1847, the George of 1857 was the son
of Thomas & Charlotte Hopla and baptised at Rhoscrowther probably on the 10 May
    1857.

Thomas Hopla mrd Charlotte Phillips during the 2nd Qtr of 1852 in the Pembroke
    Registration District probably at Rhoscrowther.

I even contacted the vicar at monkton and he had not heard of the parish you ask about.
