Hello Carol. I am unsure if the Phillimore Marriages cover the time frame I am looking at, but if they do, would you be kind enough to see if any of the following CURREY/CURRY names are on them?
Apologies for sketchy info, I have not had a lot of luck verifying much of my daughter's family in England as yet.
Many thanks,
Glen (New Zealand)
1. George CURREY/CURRY (b.1750-DBY? ENG,GBR)
sp: Rebecca JOHNSON (c.1751-Baslow, DBY, ENG; m.1770?)
Children:
2. George? CURREY/CURRY (c.1775-Baslow, DBY, ENG)
sp: Mary WILLIAMS? (m.1808?)
2. Sarah? CURREY/CURRY (c.1780-Chesterfield, DBY,ENG)
2. Richard? CURREY/CURRY (c.1782-Chesterfield? DBY, ENG)
2. Ellen CURREY (c.1785-Bakewell, DBY, ENG)
2. Ann CURREY/CURRY (c.1788-Bakewell, DBY, ENG)
Hi
There is not a name index for the Phillimores, so unless you know which parish's they married in, it is difficult. The only one I could find was this in the Pallot marriage index.
George Currey & Mary Williams - Shrewsbury St.Chad's 1808 (no date given)
Carol
My apologies Carol, I am unfamiliar with this data. Many thanks for the one you did come across though.
Cheers, Glen
Hi Carol,
Not sure if you have these records but would you mind looking for the name Peter Burton for me please.
He was born in 1772, in the 181 Census he lists Ilkeston as his birth place. In the 1861 Census he lists it as Breeston.
Many Thanks
Hi
