Hi Ann, could you please check for William and Mary Stanbury born abt 1793 and abt 1797 respectively. Both born in Devon but were in London area, most likely Shoreditch.
Children: Elizabeth, George, Jane and Emily.
Only 1841 census as they came to Australia in 48.
Thanking you in advance.
Hi Ann,
Could you please check the '71, '91 and '01 census for Tom Wright, born 1870 in Wheatenhurst (Whitminster), Gloustershire.
I have him on the '81 census, aged 11, living with his Grandparents, George Perry at Burcher cottages, Wheatenhurst, Gloucestershire.
Need his parents names too.
Many thanks,
Mardi.

Nearest thing I could find for 1901 was a Tom White born in Gloucester them living in Surrey. Think this may be a possible?

I did have a look on AA's 41 London census and found Mary, Elizabeth, Emily, and George. Later found out (from immigration records) that Jane was born in 1843ish. Mary and the kids were in Shoreditch though no sign of William. Could you please double check the Mary + family in Shoreditch and (hopefully) find William.
Big thank you.
Hi Ann,
Thats super, thanks Ann......yes, thats them.
Tom was married in Wheatenhurst in 1900, I haven't sent for his marriage cert yet, but according to FreeBMD he married either a Rhoda (James) or a M A (Golding)...I'm pretty sure he'd still be in Gloucestershere on the 1901 census.
I'm messaging my email to you as I'd love the images please.
Merry Christmas and thank you again.

This one is the closest I found though the birthyear us is wrong for Mary, and there is no place of birth given. Have saved the image.
Elizabeth Stanbury abt 1829 Middlesex, England St Leonard Shoreditch Middlesex
Emily Stanbury abt 1836 Middlesex, England St Leonard Shoreditch Middlesex
George Stanbury abt 1838 Middlesex, England St Leonard Shoreditch Middlesex
Mary Stanbury abt 1801 St Leonard Shoreditch Middlesex
Sorry no luck yet with William, still looking, I reckon he's probably hopelessly mistranscribed somewhere.
Regards
Ann
