I'm sorry I don't have a directory for 1900

1911 Liverpool Street Directory
10 Essex Street - These are the only numbers listed i.e (odds) 1,57 & 63 /
(Evens) 4A,42,56,60 & 66 , sorry.
79 Park Street - Samuel Morgan (Engineer)

I hope this info is of use to you, if not maybe you could give me a name to work with.

Hi Nanna, Many thanks for the look up. My grandfather was Arthur Morgan living at 11 Essex Street when he married my grandmother Kate Donovan, 79 Park Street, Toxteth 1903. Samuel Morgan must be Arthur's brother, a lodger with Catherine's mother. On the 1901 census I noted she took in lodgers, and this also confirms which Morgan's family Arthur belongs to.

I have just found this. Leicester University with lottery money are slowly putting on Historical Directories on line, and they are showing the year 1900 and 1895 for Liverpool.

I am looking for a James N Forbes in Liverpool he was a Master Mariner/ships captain born Aberdeen c1821 died 1874.
Would you please check 1860 directory to see if he is around then.

If anyone has a Liverpool directory 1881/1891 could they please look up a John Roberts for me as I am trying to narrow down the time of his death.
In 1881 John was head of household in 16 Alcocks Buildings in Kirkdale Liverpool and in 1891 Johns widow Sarah Roberts was head at 142 Delamore Street Also Kirkdale.

Have checked 1881 Street Directory for Liverpool and there is no listing for 'Alcocks Buildings', although there is by 1890.
Question - What is your source for 1881 and 1891 for John and Sarah? do you have a dob for them?
