Yes yes yes, I think it will be Sara McCard Thirlemere Rd (1938 directory) Grandad was married by then so going back, same name 1911, Grandad would have been 4yrs old approx. Harold most probably be born by now too.
Anything saying about Saras daughter, Nellie? and any other siblings at that time?
Sorry to be a pain just desperate for answers!
Walter John is down as a brick setter on grandads marraige certificate.
No idea what grandad was, though he was in the army for a while.

Hi Bracken,
The Directories list only the head of household so I am unable to say if there were any siblings. At the moment I don't think there is any further information in the directories that will help. If you post all the information you have so far on the lookup requests forum, I am sure someone will try and help you further.

Dear Nanna

Would it be possible for your to look in the 1911 and 1939 directories for a Thomas Scanlan? I believe that in 1924 he lived in Spencer Street, Liverpool but that is the only information I have on him. He was my grandfather and was married to a Margaret Russell.

Can you find out for me when William Nicholls lived at 7 Weaver street? I know he was there in 1919 as that was when my father John was born.

Hi Anne,
I have checked both 1911 and 1938 Directories for a Thomas Scanlan and there is no listing in either Spencer/Spenser Street for him, sorry.
The only thing I could find was a Thomas Scanlon listed in 1911 at 138 Orwell Street,Kirkdale (Police Constable)

Have checked 1860 Directory for Henry Street and there is no listing for a Charles or Mary Jane McVey/Veigh.
Have also checked for Ellen Bullock and sorry to say there is no listing for her either.
