John Collier (Joiner) 38 Whittier Street,Toxteth Park,Liverpool.

1938 Liverpool Street Directory
John Collier (L/Pool) Ltd still at Kempston Street.
John Collier (French Polisher) 65 Bishopgate Street,Wavertree,Liverpool.15
John Collier (Joiner) 23 Undercliffe Road,Stoneycroft,Liverpool.13

Edinburgh Road is under the West Derby cencus returns, the rest under Liverpool and Toxteth Park.

Nanna, Thank you for your prompt response. It does answer my query. Joseph Littler was the father of my grandmother. Last record I have of him was 1901 census when he is living at 153 Olivia Stret, nearbye to Beatrice Street. At that time my grandmother was in the care of The Childrens Society at another address. So they must have got together again. Have you any idea if it is possible to trace the father of my mother as his name is not on her birth certificate?

Hi Nannna could you find Elizabeth Street Liverpool, I am looking for families around No.9.This is near to Gt Newton Street I think.There was a John Collier living there in 1881, but wondered who might be there in 1911 or 1938 thanks Sheila

Hi Roger,
I'm sorry, but it will be impossible to say who your mother's father is without a name on the birth certificate.

Hi,

Would somebody kindly be able to tell me if Richard Hull, his wife Kate/Catherine and their 3 daughters were living at 2 McLeod Street, Liverpool around 1911 from the Liverpool Gore's directory? I have tried the 1901 census, but they do not appear.
