Hi Kevin,
The nearest Directories I have to 1868 or 1874 are the 1860 and 1881. I have checked both for any 'Beedon's' listed and unfortunately there are none.
I am sorry I am unable to help you this time.

Hello: I am looking for information in regards to the Quinn family of West Derby Rural. I found them in the 1881 Census West Derby Rural at 32 Belmont Road. The only Quinn family members that I have been able to find are Peter Quinn and Elizabeth (Betsy Holden) Quinn (who is buried in The Hamilton Cemetery in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada), Arthur my grandfather, his sister Frances Alicia (Quinn) Walker of Hamilton Ontario and Georgina (Quinn) Thurling buried with her father at West Derby Cemetery (stone 481). I am particulary interested in information around 1915 for Quinn Bros., Cockspur St., Liverpool who I believe were in 1891 census (Alfred Quinn marine engineer, Frederick Hamilton Quinn warfinger, Ernest Quinn dr. bookkeeper. They had lived at Stanley House in West Derby which says 31 Belmont Road. Benjamin Quinn is listed in the 1881 census as an Analitical Chemist. Any look up for Cockspur Street in Liverpool for Quinn Brothers or other information would be appreciated.

Dear Nana: Thank your for the LOOK UP, I will go over the reply to my query and see how it fits in to my research. some of the names match my research, the name John at first glance does not but could be important to what I am looking for.

Nana: The reason I was looking for records of Cockspur in Liverpool in regards to Quin Brothers is because of a soldier record I came across which mentions the Quinn Brothers who appear to be in a ship repair or ship building business which ties in with the census of 1881 of the Quinn family on Belmont Road, West Derby Rural and the occupation of some of the family.
