Is anyone able to look up the residants of 20 Boston Street, Liverpool in 1910
Please. My Grandmother, Annie Keating or Keatinge address at the time of Marriage was 20 Boston St. I am hoping it may lead me to other members of her family. Also 111 Strand Road where my grandfather was living at the time of his marriage to Annie. Many thanks. Barby |

Hi Barby,
Have checked 1911 Liverpool Street Directory which is the nearest I have. 20 Boston Street - William Porter (Labourer) 111, Strand Road - Albert Martin Evans (Boot Repairer) Do you have a copy of the marriage certificate, if so, what are the father's names? I may be able to check further for you. Nanna |

Hi Nanna. Found you !
Don't know if you can help, but....here goes. My Mother (Dorothy Jones) was raised by her Grandmother (Elizabeth Anne Jones). Her birth cert. 1903, shows them living at 98 Opie St. off Grt Homer St. I'm trying to establish how, and when, they ended up either running, or living in, a lodging house in Bootle around 1918 (where my Dad met my Mam). The lodging house was either 29 Kirk St. Bootle, or 2 Pleasant Place / View, Bootle. Is it possible to check all three address's in Gores 1911 to see if there is any mention of them ? I have a Gores 1949 and appreciate that they, very often, ommitted "working mens dwellings", but...worth a try ! Cheers Jim |
