I have checked Liverpool Street Directories for 1911 & 1938 and there is no listing for 'Laycock' in either.

Can you please advise the resident of 152 Beatrice Street, Bootle in 1911 Gores. My grandmother was a servant at this address as shown on the birth certificate of my mother.

Hi Nanna I wonder if you might be able to find a Margaret Fahey on the 1911 or 1938 census she was living in the Graston area at one point, may have lived with a family called Collier who was a Timber Merchant thanks Sheila

Hi Sheila,

I presume you meant Street Directory, if this is the case, I am unable to help you as they only give the name of the main householder.
I did find a John Collier (Wood Merchants, L/Pool Ltd) with Stores and offices at 18, 21 & 24 Kempston Street and works at Craven Street.
There was no listing of a Margaret Fahey as a householder.

Hi Nanna thank you for that info.It is pobably that Margaret was working as a cook for this Mr Collier, so she wouldnt have been mentioned, but the info of addresses is very helpful thank you.Sheila I take it this is 1911?

Hi Nanna, thanks....I wonder if you might find John Colliers residence, i think he either lived in Garston,West Derby or Grassendale...i know my mums aunt Margaret worked at his residence, and I think it was somewhere around those areas. thanks Sheila
