Hi Pauline, I'm hoping your offer still stands? 1891 Census: I am looking for THOMAS HIBBS c. 1864 b. Liverpool his wife ANNA MARY b. 1864 Liverpool. By 1901 Anna was widowed, reverted to her maiden name (Harrison) and was living with her sister NO SIGN of her 3 children! So I am hoping that you may be able to find: WILLIAM JAMES HIBBS b. 1888, ALEXANDER HIBBS b. 1890 & MARGARET ANN HIBBS b. 1894.
Many thanks
Regards
Kay

Many thanks for the 1891 Census details - shame it's not my Thomas - just have to continue the search for the missing children!
Regards
Kay
Hi Kay,
Me again, although I couldn't find Thomas and the children on Cencus return's have done further checking and found the following:
Thomas Hibbs (Death) June Qtr 1895 Aged 31 Toxteth Park 8B153
William J Hibbs (Marriage) to Phoebe A. Morris Dec Qtr 1909 Toxteth Park 8B 346 (Register Office)
Margaret A Hibbs (Marriage) to John Banks June Qtr 1915 Toxteth Park 8B 348 (St. Matthew)
Alexander Hibbs (Marriage) to Alice A Brown June Qtr 1918 Toxteth Park (St. Matthew)
You can either apply to ONS Southport for any or all three marriages (Cost £8.50 each with Ref No) or you can apply direct to Liverpool Registrar with a printed request form which is available on Lancashire BMD's and which will cost £7.00 each.
I then checked Liverpool street directory for year's 1911 and 1938 and found the following;
Mrs. Alice Hibbs 6, Churchill Street, Liverpool.8
Jn Banks (Ships Steward) 28 South Grove, Liverpool.8
both of these were in 1938, there was no trace of William in either directory.
You may have this info already, if not, I hope it's of use to you.

Hi Joe,
Have checked 1901 cencus for Bile Street and it's not listed under Liverpool, Toxteth Park or West Derby.
Have found the following:
1891 Cencus
Curran John Head M 28 Striker Liverpool,Lancashire.
Curran Emelia Wife F 21 Liverpool, Lancashire.
Curran Henry Son M 1 Liverpool, Lancashire.
RG12 / 2934 / 108 / 35
The age is out by about 4 yrs but this could be John (D) Curran
Residing at 20, Fair View Place, Toxteth Park, L/Pool
This address is not listed in 1901 Cencus.
1901 Cencus
There is a John Curran aged 39 and an A(E)melia Curran aged 32 listed for Liverpool on 1901 online Cencus, but I have no credits to check this out for you and without an address I am unable to check my cd's.
Maybe another member can check this out for you.
