Hi Nanna,
Any chance of finding the parents and/or siblings of Peter(John) Simmins born in Lancashire (sorry don't know what county) in 1819? Peter came to Australia in 1846 after a year in Tasmania.
He married Amy Craft in Newtown, Tasmania about 1844 or 1846.
He is proving to be difficult to trace back not knowing the county etc.
Any help is very gratefully received. Many thanks....helenstapo.

Hi Nanna,
Could you look up William and Ann Beswick born in 1824 and 1832 respectively, both was born in Leekpith Staffordshire, they had 4 children: George Beswick born in Hollinsclough 1856, Charles born in 1860, Mary Ann born in 1858 and Sarah Emily born in 1867. They moved to the Oldham Lancashire area between 1881 and 1901. I know Sarah married a John W Heathcote but I can't seem to track partners and siblings of George, Charles or Mary Ann, any info greatly apreciated Nanna. Sorry to be such a pain.
