I can now do 1841 for scotland

I am desperate to find John Mckay born 1829-1830 father George



my dream is to get his birth cert



I have no idea what part of scotland, this has been my problem for years

i have been looking, there are 88 John mckay born 1829 to 1831 in Scotland that still live there

so far i have looked at a fair few and have found 3 that have George as dad

That is why i havent answered yet

wanted to find the right one

I don't know what I am doing with this 1841 scotish census, where does it say relationship to head of house



I think I will be comming back for your help sooner than I thought, but will do it on the help thread

The 1841 census dosent show relationships, it's just a case of assuming that they are father and son, obviously other sources are needed to confirm,its easier if other siblings are known then you are able to discount certain families.
