Thread: WWI War Dead - Lancashire and Yorkshire

In recent months Astoria and I have been conducting research for a work in progress.

Part of this research entailed transcribing and collating the names of the WWI dead from the Morecambe War Memorial and Roll of Honour.

Although the majority of the 203 names are those of the men of Morecambe, there are also many from West Yorkshire, owing to different Yorkshire connections with the town.

We have also been able to find other information relating to these men, and if you think an ancestor might be among them, we will be happy to help you, wherever possible.
