    Hi Glen,

I'm assuming your enquiry is for baptisms, if you'd like a look-up for marriages or deaths - let me know.

    Baptisms.

James Taylor 29/9/1793 of Halifax father William (Tinner)

James Taylor 6/7/1800 of Sy? (abb) father James (Weaver) chapelry sob? (abb)

James Taylor 8/4/1810 of Southowram father James (Labourer) mother Charlotte

I think Sy is Sowerby, and sob Sowerby Bridge - not certain though.

Good telepathy Slizzy, it was for baptisms, brain dead here at the moment....

Thanks so much for the info.

Would it be too much to ask for any marriages of a James TAYLOR (weaver) during the 1760-1800 period?

    Much appreciated,

    Glen

    Hi Glen

James T. (of Bolton) occ weaver married Susanna Peel (of Elland) 5/12/1793 by banns.

James T (of Warley) occ weaver married Sarah Wadsworth (of Warley) 7/8/1776 by banns.

If one of these isn't yours, there are three others between 1796 -99.

Unfortunately, these don't quite tie in Slizzy. Could you let me have the others between 1796 & 1800 please.

    Many thanks,

    Hi Glen,

The search was inconclusive as not enough info to be certain.

Joseph T, 6/7/1800 father James, born Ovenden, chapelry Illingworth.

Sarah T. 4/8/1805 father James (spinner) mother Sarah,

Thomas 13/5/1798 father James, born Ovenden, chapelry Illingworth

Excellent Slizzy. These give me something to try and "hang my hat on" and even if they don't pan out, at least I can discount them.

Your time and effort is very much appreciated.

    Glen
