    Default Lytham St Annes

    Hi

I am able to search local records, check out church burials, and take pics etc for the Lytham St Annes, Lancashire area. (Blackpool too if needed)

Just let me know, I'll be happy to help!

    Hi Ruth,

I saw your offer of help in the lytham area.

I am trying to find out some information on some of my ancestors, mainly one John Charles Edwards.

I know he was born 23rd November 1870 in Warton Street, Lyham.

His father was Henry Edwards and his mother was Susan Edwards (formely Tinsley or Tynsley).

I also know he had a brother William Henry Edwards born 9th September 1867 in Clifton Street Lytham.

I believe he married a Hannah Edwards (formely Whitaker).

For some reason he died around 1901/1902 but why or where I don't know, but the trail seems to jump to West Bromwich in the West Mids.

Where his son was born and latter his widow remarried.

    Thanks for your help.

    Simon.

    Hi Simon,

What info exactly are you looking for? I know both Warton St, and Clifton St.

Clifton St, Lytham is the main "High St" in Lytham, and is a very affluent area now, full of quite expensive shops.

Do you have birth / marriage / death certs? If so, do they give any numbers of the addresses? If so, I can poss get photos of the properties if they are still there.

Where did John Charles Edward die?

I will help in any way I can.

    Kind regards

    Ruth

Would you like to know further back from Henry & Susan, or do you already have that info?
