Hi Light

I may be clutching at straws here but would you have a
Esther married to a Place.
Esther was born in Macclesfield in 1813 so looking for a marriage around 1831-1837.

Thanks Light

Hi Pauline, Sorry but the only 2 Place marriages around that time are...

Elias Place a weaver X Mary Winch, St Peters Church Prestbury Cheshire 28/7/1833..

Mary Place X George Percival, St Lawrence Church Frodsham 28/14/1834..

Theres only 6 Place marriages in total so an unusual name in Cheshire

Hi Light.

Thankyou for looking anyway. I guess she may have married in some other parish, but where I don't know.

Hi Pauline,

I had a quick look on the Lancs OPC site but didnt see anything. Some of my Cheshire ones seemed to marry in Staffordshire. It might be worth looking there

Hi Light. I'll have a look and see, although I have Esther in the 1881 census living with Morlidge family. Relationship sister in Law born 1813. I found her death entry on Cheshire BMD 1903 aged 90

Thanks anyway Light

Wow Light that's great. Thankyou for the info. It's the right family ok as I have a Charlotte Skellern (boarder) married to James Morlidge
Crickey Elias was certainly a fast worker

Ooops Sorry to be a nuisance Light but do you have a Esther Skellern on your disk? I found her on the Cheshire BMD Site married to Isaac Wych in 1840 at Astbury St Mary. I think Isaac maybe Esther Wych's brother and that's where Esther is the sister in law to Charlotte Morlidge nee Skellern
