    Default census 1841/1901 and BDM from 1837 lookups offered

    Hi, I'm very new to this site, and not sure how it works yet, but I have access to all the census dates 1841/1901 and BDM from 1837, If I can be of use to anyone please let me know...

    Hi I was wondering could you search a birth on ancestry for me please it is for a Walter Whitby born 3 Feb 1935 in staffordshire prob wolstanton area.

    Hi, The census records on ancestry only go up to 1901, but I have looked up the birth record and it is; Walter Whitby, mothers maiden name "Speakman" area, Stoke T, record info, J/M 1935, 6b, 174.. hope this is some use, if i can be of any futher help let me know..

    Sorry, just realised, did you want me to try and trace back (parents marr, siblings etc), I will do that, but it will take a bit of time, if you do, and you could give me any more info (names of parents etc), i'll start looking...

    No its ok I have the marriage but just wanted to check it was the right marriage, knowing that the mothers maiden name would be on his birth record is enough to confirm I found the right one.

    Hi, Thanks for your offer. Could you see if you could find a marriage for me please?

    Info is a little sketchy but here goes.

    Thomas Watkins 20ish, in Royal Navy. Possibly married in or near Plymouth. Early 1900's . father James, mother Georgina. Wife's name Rhoda ??? from???

    Not a lot to go on but its all I have.

    I have found a mar for James Watkins and Georgina Elizabet Hopcroft. Kingston Middlesex Sy, Oct/Dec 1882 Vol 2 page 504.

    Does this match the parents for Thomas? let me know
