Hi Starlight
I am searching for any info at all on Gabriel Cornell, born 1759/1760 New York
Died 1847/1848 Burried at Christies Corners, West Flamborough, Ontario
I would dearly love to know his fathers name or if he was an imigrant himself. There seems to be two possibilities, one he was a brother of Sylvanus and Daniel who imigrated from Wales, two he was the son of John Cornell 1738-1813. John had a son named Gabriel but at this time we can not conclude and confirm which Gabriel is the correct line to me. Any light that could be brought on this would be greatly apreciated.
Thank you very much,
Snowy

Hi Snowy,

I'm sorry, I have not been able to find him. The problem with the earlier census' is that they only list the head of household and the number of children around certain ages. I have however found someone researching the same name. I don't know if you have already made conntact with him, but I will send his email address via PM

Thank you very much, When it gets to Gabriel it becomes confused because there were three I know of and there is some record of each but I have not seen some that would be conclusive. I can rule out Gabriel from 1762 easily but the question is whether The son of John or the brother of Daniel and Sylvanus, John traced back to Essex and the three brothers back to Wales is the big question. Your efforts are greatly apreciated,
Snowy

Thank you for looking, I don't think these are my immediate family. The information I was given must be wrong. It is much more likely they were in Warren County Tennesse, as they move from there to Arkansas in about 1851.

Hello Starlight,

I've had previous contact concerning Holland Hargraves and passenger lists. Can I now ask for a census look-up? I have details of the 1850 census but not the subsequent ones. Here are the details :- 1850 living in Cecil County MD.
Holland Hargraves b. 1813 Yorkshire UK, wife Catherine b. not sure, children Holland b. 1846, William b. 1848, Mary b.1849, Margaret b. 1851, James b. 1854, and Anna b. 1858. All children I think b. Maryland, certainly the first 3 were. I will be so grateful if you can look for me, I've hit a brick wall with this lot, they are most elusive. Good luck.

Susan
