Hi Dave,

That was quick work. I had seen Visheau's but couldn't make the connection. Louise Elizabeth doesn't explain where the name Elsie Visheau popped up from though.

I'm assuming it's a nickname or some such, possibly the name was misspelled/heard. I found some info that might relate to the name, but it's at Ancestry.fr, and seeing as how I don't know any french, except the numbers 1-20, it's fairly useless to me, lol. If possible, could you use the info to find anything out on the Visheau's? The cousin I found is in the same boat as I am, one with no paddles, going nowhere fast, lol. oh, an alternate spelling might be Vischeau.

Hi Dave,

I'll give it a try. It might not be until tomorrow now though. My French isn't up to much either

Hi Dave,

Apart from the marriages and deaths that you have already got, I have been unable to find any more.

Ok, thank you for trying. I've been searching all over the web looking for anything I could, even the Canadian records only go back to the beginning of the 19th century, so far as I could find anyway.

Hi starlight.

I wonder if you could find any info on a Albert Burrows born 4 Qrt 1867 MacClesfield Cheshire...went to U.S.A. 1895. He took his young son Harold with him. Harold was born in 2 Qrt 1891 again In MacClesfield.
In 1896 Alberts wife Annie Joined him with her other 2 children, Archie born 1893 and Annie born 1895.
Their Uncle Robert Malkin born 1843 went over to U.S.A. in 1886. Not sure if his wife Sarah went with him or not. Or whether Robert came back to UK
Robert Malkin's son, also called Robert went over to U.S.A. to join his cousins in 1899.

Thanks starlight.
