    Jonvid many thanks.. The two names below I believe were my Grandfathers siblings...?? Minnie and brother Richard.. I,m not sure who Alf Davies was and who his parents were? Alf is not on any of the Census.. Your help is so much appreciated Jonvid.

    I have had a look on Helston Baptisms but I can see no sign of any Davies let alone Minnie, Richard or Alf.

    I had a look back as far as 1865 and forwards to 1885 but nothing.



    Is there any more info you can give me?

    Parents or other siblings perhaps.

    Did they come from a village around Helston?



    I will keep checking for you.

    Jonvid..Parents names were Richard and Mary Ann Davies Nee Prisk.. I have loads of info on the Prisks so nothing required there.. The Prisks came from St Hilary. My Great Grandparents were married in St Hilary church 1872.. Both give their address as Woodstock.. On the 1871 Census Mary Ann Prisk is living with her Mother and the address shown is Woodstock....The 1881 Census for my Great Grandparents has the family living in East Stone House Devon. The surname mistranscribed as Davis. The younger siblings of Minnie and Richard were born in London.

    I cant really tell you any more..
