    Here's some Quiries for you:

Sophia(or Sophie) Lendernoff Quirie (b.1896-d.1969)born Dumferline, died East Calder. Illigitimate daughter of Ann Morrison Quirie (daughter of Charles Quirie & Mary Gammack)

Trying to work out who Sophia's father was....with a name like Lendernoff as a middle name I wondered if that was father's surname.

Jean Quirie (born prior to 1899) daughter of Sophie Quirie (as above. Sophie married John Cadger in 1899). I've been told there were no children from the marriage but I've got a Barbara Ann Quirie (no birth date though) so maybe she had both daughters prior to marriage and they had a different father altogether.

Hope thats not sounding too complicated............it is to me..........lol

    Hi Mollie,

Could you do 2 marriage lookups for me please around the late 1840's. Both couples were in Roxbrugh in 1869 at another wedding in Sprouton.

They are:- James Turnbull (Steward-1869) marriage to Margaret Douglas

    2. William Maben (Farm servant-1869) marriage to Agnes Houden

    Thanks

Hi Star found this one but can't find the other Are you sure the surname is Douglas for your Margaret

Found lots of James Turbulls married to Margaret but none of them Douglas. I'll look at some earlier ones..Hope this one helps
