I have access to Wiltshire marriage licences from 1615 -1681

Hi Starlight

I was wondering if you could do me a lookup please.

Im after a JOHN MINTY (also spelt Mintey, Mintie etc) he was born 1610 Southbroom St James Wiltshire. I know he had a son born 1654 - but Ive no idea who his wife was.

Any help would be great

Hi Maz,



They aren't recorded amongst the marriage licenses. They probably were married by Banns. I have checked all the Wiltshire marriages that I have banns for as well but without luck. I will add a thread giving the parishes I have later so that you will be able to see what areas have been checked.

My Spreadbury's are mainly from Compton and Owslebury.

I'm looking for MINAULE, MYNOLD, MINOLL, MILDENHALL/MILDENHALE marriages in Wiltshire. (Yes once again, name changes ) They all seem to be living in the BEDWYN area.



In particular:

John MYNOLL married about 1617 (8th Grand uncle)

Francis MINAULE married Ann ROBERT(S) abt 1640 (8th Grandad)

Thomas MINAULE married Jane about 1671 (7th Grandad)



But any others you stumble across would be probably related.
