The family are not on the 1910 census as Starkey. Could this be the same Edward remarried. The youngest child would be 23 by the 1900 census and probably left home or married.

    Hi Sueh,

I have edited the spelling of some of the Surnames. I must have been alseep when doing it. The 1930 one is still spelt Starkie and the wife proves that this is still the same family. I have emailed the images. If you have any problem reading them let me know and I will send them differently. I have removed your email address from the forum now that I've used it.

    UPDATE ON 1890 CENSUS

Although still not complete, a replacement census may now give some names that you are searching for. These names have been got from other censuses, directories, special Census of Union Civil War Veterans and their Widows, and electoral role registers etc.

    Good Afternoon

Could you please look up the follwoing information for me in the 1860 census - I believe the information is in the Madison County Arksanas section.

Simon Carpenter Hager (might be spelt as Hagar), he was born 30 April 1841 in North Carolina, I have found him in the 1870 and 1880 censuses, when he had moved to Texas.

His parents were Christopher (born 23 February 1808 in North Carolina) and Anne (born 1811 in North Carolina).

    Regards

    Joan Smith
