I'm looking for Joseph Press born 1888 Bollington Macclesfield Cheshire, he married Elizabeth Ann Dolan in 1909, they had 2 children Edwin Press born 1914 and Donald Press born 1925 both born Bollington. I believe they may have emigrated to Hudson USA between 1924 and 1930, unfortunately I don't have access to check this out.

Unfortunately my computer has gone in for repair. The one I am using is so slow at doing anything. I have tried several times today trying to find a quite period but I haven't got anywhere yet. I haven't given up though. You could try posting in the genealogy lookup requests forum. I am sure someone else must have the records. Let me know on this thread if you have found them. I did find an Edwin Press in the Eliis Island records who went out there in 1911 (residence = Ballingtonn) but that was before yours was born.

Yes I saw the Edwin Press in the Ellis Records to, but not my Edwin. I'll post in the other forum and I'll let
you know if I get any results.

Just letting you know that Noggin28 found my Joseph Press on the CWGC website, he was killed on the 8th May 1915 in Belguim aged 26.
