I'm trying to find the following people on Passenger Lists

Henry Pengelly b. 1822/1823 Yorkshire, England. Would have emmigrated approx. 1840 to 1850. He was headed to Canada via USA.



Andrew Forsyth b. 1824 Londonderry, Ulster, Ireland. Would have emmigrated approx. 1838 to 1849. He was headed to Canada as well, via England then USA.



Martha Maud Donnelly (Donly, Donley, Donnolly) b. 1826 Armaugh, Ulster, Ireland. Would have emmigrated approx. 1844 to 1855. She was headed to Canada as well, via England then USA.

Hannah Brewer born 1860 Bradford (nee Knowles) WRY

Annie Brewer born 1880 Bradford WRY

all found on 1881 Census living Cutler Heights Lane Bradford. Found again in 1901 living same place, think they returned home 1898/1899.

Think I found Joseph Brewer going from Liverpool to New York on SS Servia 1888, but was not able to find Hannah or Annie.

If you could helpI would very much appreciate it.

Do you know where abouts in the USA the other children were born ?

thats the information I found when I went to the library, but was wondering why wife and child were not mentioned,couldn't find anywhere. Sorry to sayI don't know where my gran and her brother were born, she couldn't remember herself, and she claimed she never had a birth certificate, she said she was about 4 or 5 when they returned home to Bradford. I do know that they had family (uncle and cousins) of Joseph Brewer living in Utah in Cedar City,Iron County, I have got quite a bit of information on them, as I have found decendants still living there, and we e mail each other regularly.

I have tried to find US Census returns for 1890, but found out that they were mostly destroyed, so I haven't even been able to trace them while in America.

I would like to have known what they were doing there.

i have found them in 1891 but not in 1901



I found their eldest daughter in 1901 living with an aunt but cannot find the other children.

Hi Starlight thank you for looking i dont think they are the right family in 1901



a the ages are slightly different

b Edwin was down as groom, labourer etc on previous census,s

c Elizabeth was born in gloucestershire badgeworth

d what happened to the previous children did they all go elsewhere



The trouble is there was quite a few WIggalls in gloucestershire all with similiar family names.

I might put on the look up to see if anyone can find the missing children.

I'm trying to help a freind who's just started her family tree she is looking for a Manuel Jose Tavares born feb 1902 in Portugal I did find him coming into Elliss Island in 1922 but he came to the U.S about 2 years before that as it said on the ships manifest for 1922 he was in the states before I've tried to find him for her but can't find anything else I think he came over the first time when he was 18. Any ideas it would help her so much. I have given her this web page so hopefully she will be joining soon. Thanks hope some one can help
