Hi JonI

There is nothing on the Notts marriages CD produced by the Notts FHS, but not all parishes have been covered. I did find this one on the Phillimore marriages of Derbyshire.

James Pegg & Dorothy Barlow 22 Dec 1800 at Spondon. It doesn't say which parish they were from.

Hi, I was wondering if you could help me with 3 marriages. I looked on the IGI and only found this info.
1.JAMES HUTCHINSON married SARAH SELBY the 31 march 1828 rempstone nottingham. I am not sure yet but I believe(and crossing my fingers) the SARAH was the daughter of BENJAMIN SELBY and SARAH SELBY(nee BRIN) this SARAH was c 22 dec, 1806 rempstone. Anyways I have found one child for JAMES and SARAH: WILLIAM HUTCHINSON c 21 dec, 1828, and died the 22 nov, 1841.

2.THOMAS BRAMLEY married REBECCA SELBY in 1783 rempstone.Again I am hoping REBECCA is in my tree but not sure who her parents could be.

3.JOHN JONES married HANNAH SELBY the 24 feb, 1781 rempstone.Again this is all I got of them.

Hi Charby

I have checked the Phillimore marriage index, but I'm afraid no clue's are given.
The date for Thomas Bramley & Sarah Selby was given as 17 June 1784 and I found a marriage of Benjamin Selby and Sarah BRIX 21 September 1783. Not sure if you already have this information, but I found William Hutchinson in the 1841 census of Rempstone age 12 and living with a William Selby aged 52 & Mary Selby aged 52. The Sarah Selby born 1806 had a brother William baptised 26 April 1789. So the date fits.

Hope this helps a little bit

I was wondering if you could find for me the marriage for WILLIAM OSBORNE b abt 1866 nottingham and ELIZABETH SELBY c abt 1865 stapleford notts.They married about 1886 civil parish st-mary.

William Osborne married Elizabeth Selby at St Paul's Nottingham 31 January 1886

Hi Carol,

I have a Harry R Eaton, born abt 1879 in Sneinton, Nottinghamshire. His father was John Robert Eaton but unfortunately he died in 1880 in Winchester, Hampshire so I have no idea where or when he was born. I can't find him in Hampshire. He married Ester Mundy who was born in 1845. Could you look and see if this marriage is there. Thank you.

John Robert Eaton married Esther Mundy 1.8.1875 at Beeston, Nottingham.

Could you please look up the baptism of William Kirk around 1725 in East Leake for me please?

And also the baptism of his father also William Kirk in East Leake around 1699?
