Does anyone know of a reform/discipline/education ship that was docked in Liverpool around 1914/1915?
Are there any records to this ie:. who was on it and their details as in parents?

Hi Bracken

might be worth looking on The Long Long Trail, website about the first world war. It might give you some info regarding the situation at that time and whether or not there were reform ships at the start of the war and if so what effect the war might have on them., change of route etc. It could give you some leads. If not then have a look for reform during the first world war. Hope this helps.

Not a problem at all, I have been doing a lot of research in WW1 due to my GGF service, so I was glad to be able to offer some help for once instead of just asking for it lol!

Good luck and check the bbc website under history, they have a lot of social history on there for that period so also might contain a few clues for you.

Also try - www.liverpoolmuseums.org.uk/maritime - click on archives & library, then information sheets - no 9 is on training ships & educational establishments - you should find it useful
