The earlist I have got back on my Mother's side of the tree is 1781 John Carr of Tynemouth, Northumberland, England child Thomas Carr of Tynemouth abt 1819 to Jan 1895 married to Mary Ann Wilkinson of Belford, Northumberland 2 Apr 1826 to Apr 1897, if matched in your tree any information very grateful.

Don't know if this matches with your tree at all but my gg grandmother was Mary Ann Carr,daughter of Thomas Carr.She married Thomas Hudson Wood 20/11/1847 in Sunderland and they had 3 children:Mary Jane 1851,William 1856 and Thomas 1858

Currently I have notes for
c 1536 Elizabeth HERRON of Ford Castle m Thomas CARR of Ethal NBL
dau CARR m Sir Francis BLAKE (date?)
John HALL c 1684 farmer of Ford NBL m 1713 Isabella CARR of Ford Parish Church
suspected parents of Isabella as Oliver CARR m Anne SMITH

The above are roughly pre 1800's
Post 1800'2
No further details other than Margaret HALL's daughter Isabella CARR married...which means that Margaret must/could have married a male CARR c 1830-1840's NBL

I have some more data working back to late 1500's for my HALL's and some associated families FORSTER,GREY, BALDERSTON, LEARMOUTH, DAVISON, RICHARDSON
