Good luck with your search - my ggg grandmother was born in Burgh St. Peter - Mary Sparks - father John, occupationFarmer, have not been able to find much at present, but it is a small village.
I have since confirmed that my guy was born 1814 and was born at Burgh next Aylsham. The family name was Daglass but various family members changed it to Douglas as they moved on.
Parents of my guy were John Daglass and Elizabeth Pearson.

Hi to all researching Norfolk , another good place to gleam information is family search , as you may know they have the parish images free on line , what i did enjoy was the guardian transcripts , try flegg area just to see how your ancestors lived - it gives info of many areas for parish relief . example if husband was injured -sick or wife laying in -well worth looking-it is slow reading but worth it . Happy hunting .
Have you an approximate date for Mary Sparks time of birth?
