Hi Elizabeth Ann,
You could try your/the local main Library for the area you are researching. Nanna |

Hello Elizabeth Ann,
You could try the Access 2 Archives web site at www.a2a.org.uk/default.asp click on "search these catalogues" in the "keyword box" type school records. In the "English Region or Wales" there's a drop down list, click on the region you want. Next page you can sort your results. If the records you want are not listed on there, try the local archives or county record office to the area you want. School records are closed for either 100 or 75 years, can't remember which at the moment, but you can request a look-up under the Freedom of Information Act. The archives/record office have so many hours/days (depending on their ruling) to spend on this research for free. Hope this helps. |
