Thread: Ethersey/Garty Madras & Suffolk

Hi,
I'm searching for my G.G. GrandMother Frances Ethersey who married John Garty in Madras in 1828 and had a daughter Maria Elizabeth born 16 Oct 1829 in Madras.

They left India and returned to Ipswich, Suffolk in 1831 and had 2 more children (Frederick and Harriet) and then came to Sydney, Australia and had 2 more sons (William 1834) and Ebenezer 1841 who is my G Grandfather.

Frances died in Madras June 1844.

Her parents were Richard Ethersey and Elizabeth Sharp who married April 1800 at St. Mathew's Ipswich. Other children are:
William circa 1801
James born June 1814
Ann born March 1818

I can not find any reference to Frances Ethersey (born circa 1803) on any other site including IndianFamilies and would greatly appreciate any help in tracking the birth of Frances or John and John's parents.

NSW birth certificates have not aided my search.
