Thread: Fazakerley Cottage Homes

Hello,
I am looking for some infor on the Fazakerley Cottage Homes. My husbands grandfather Thomas Breen was in the home when he was a boy. From what I understand, the home was opened in March of 1889.
Thomas was born in 1881 to John Breen and Maria Jane Ramsden Breen. He left the cottage home in 1893 to come to Canada as one of the British Home Children.
We have know idea how long he was in the home. I was able to find records from Fazakerley Cottage Home, but you can not get to them on-line.So I was wondering if there is someone out there that would like to do some research
for us? If so here is the infor I have.

The records are at the Liverpool Record Office, the reference code is 352-SOC for the records of Fazakerley Cottage homes.The years that would need to be looked at are,1889 to 1893. I was able to find him living at the cottage home in 1891,he was on the census. Sure hope someone out there can help find him!!!!
