Default An impossible Quest

I have sort of given up any hope of resolving this issue but thought I would give it one last go.
I am searching for the wife of John Hugo b. 21/2/1569 in St Just in Roseland, Cornwall.
The couple had 8 children from Stephen b.1588 through to Anne b.1606 all in St Just.
The oldest daughter was Mary b.1595 (could this be a clue?)
After years of looking I don't hold out a lot of hope but my fingers are crossed.
