Thread: Royal Navy Lookup Records.

Would some kind person look up for me the Naval records of Robert SHard b 1884 in Widness Lancashire.

He was demobed due to injuries after an explosion on board ship . in 1912. Invalided out of the Navy due to damaged ear drums. He was in the Navy from 1900--1912.

I think the last ship he served on was the PEMBROKE.

Is it possible also to find out the marital status and his wifes name and any children.

You may have got this by now - have only just seen your post but if not -
go to the National Archives website - go to search the archives - click documents online - register of seamens services & you will find him. It will cost you £3-50 to download info about his service record. There will probably be additional information at the National Archives but this will be a very good starting point
