Thread: 10th foot - Lincolnshire Regt

My g grandfather Owen Kelly was in the 10th foot, and was discharged sometime in 1881? , he came from Ireland.I have tried to get info but alas am out of luck. I have tried the national archives but his name does not appear in any records i have checked. I think he was an army pensioner, but it doesn't appear to help, he was in Chatham, Aldershot,Dover and Lincoln for definate, I am not sure if he married whilst in the army, or in Ireland. in the 1881 census he has been transcribed as Oliver Kelly, and 1891 as Owen.He died in 1897. can anyone help or advise me on what to do next? as I seem to have hit a very solid brick wall!any help/suggestions gratefully received.
