Hi the raven,
I have one in my tree in the Royal Navy. He is also listed on this site which also has a couple named Mummery:- http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/Coastguards/M-O.html The notes are similar to the ones I have, so I would say he was both. Mine was on a ship that was guarding the waters of a smugglers route. Last edited by Starlight; 16-09-2007 at 07:53 PM. |

Hi Raven,
I was having a nose at your Stephen "Munnings" again and just happened to see John Nicholas Mundy who is in my tree. I think I will have to go through all the alphabet and see if any more of mine were Naval coastguards that I didn't know about. It has also given me a drowning that I didn't know about. |
