Can anyone help me trace George McNeill and his wife Jeanette nee McDonald. They are in Chrichton, Midlothian in the 1841 census, but are not in the 1851 census. I cannot find any details of their death, but have the death of George's mother Margaret. George was born about 1800 and all I know about him is that he was a coal miner and lived in Chrichton, the east side of Pathhead in Midlothian in 1841. I would be very grateful for any information on George McNeill, his parents or his death. He married Jeanette McDonald in 1824 in Muiravonside, Stirlingshire and I can't find out anything about them, I don't even know where they were born.
