William was born in/ near Marylebone according to census write ups

Richard must have been born around 1790 as William was born in/around 1818

    Hi

My London geography is not that good, but....

There is a record on LMA for the baptism of a William Chandler who's fathers occupation was Upholster.

    Name: William Chandler
    Estimated Birth Date: abt 1817
    Baptism Date: 2 Mar 1817
    Father's Name: Richard Chandler
    Mother's Name: Elizabeth Chandler
Parish or Poor Law Union:Piccadilly St James
    Borough:Westminster

From the census, do you have a wifes first name?

    Brian

The IGI have at least 13 records of a Richard Chandler - but this one caught my eye not sure if it is your man though!
Richard Jno Nicholson Chandler birth 9/7/1794 ch 10/8/1794 at St Mary, St Marylebone Road, St Marylebone London. Parents Richards & Ann.
This is an extracted record from the IGI so should be fairly reliable - but may be open to possible mistranscriptions. Always check the originals if possible
