Skeets and Osbornes

Hi folks

On Christmas Eve 1905 Elizabeth Osborne marries Robert Drain at St Paul, Old Ford, London.

She is a 23yrs old widow, a Box Maker and her father is given as Charles Skeet a Carman. Her sister Mary Ann Skeet is a witness, as is Robert's father Charles.

Charles Skeet is not given as deceased although he died in 1897.

Elizabeth is in the 1901 Census with her widowed mother Sarah and her brothers and sisters at 40 Surat Street, Bethnal Green, Middlesex RG13 / 295 /119/62 She is a Match Box Maker Packing.

What eludes me is her birth [unless she was born in Mile End in 82] and her first marriage to Mr Osborne
Also the same for daddy and his joining up with Sarah as well.

It's a puzzle, unless I'm missing something.

Any help will be gratefully accepted, believe me!!

May well be the Mile End family

Have found a couple of baptisms

Robert May 11th 1887 son of Charles Edward and Sarah Skeet 11 ?Birkendale Street, BANCROFT ROAD ( AS 1891 census address) CARMAN Stepney St Anthony Tower Hamlets

Which throws up at the same church

Mary Ann dau Nov 25th 1885 of Charles Edward and Sarah Skeet 22 Longhose Rd BANCROFT ROA Coalheaver

Charles Edward SKEET died Berhnal Green W/house 12 April 1897 aged 38, undertaker was Mee burried Plaistow

1871 RG10 565 143 15 maybe transcribed as STREET

I think Charles SKEET was born Chadwell ESSEX and can be found with a mother and siblings.....he does state Shadwell which is middlesex on ine census, but I need to find my notes!
