My grandfather was George Bright - married Eliza Ramsey, his father George Bright married Eliza Pearl, his father George Bright - wife may have been Elizabeth.
Eliza Pearl - parents Joshua Pearl and Eleanor Hodgson.
Have been unable to find further back - these were all in the London area.

I can find no record of Joshua's birth

Have you found him on the 1841 census? The IGI does have some George Bright's in the London area. Do you have any ideas about dates etc? it does not matter if they are a bit vague - it may help

thanks for your reply - I did have the marriage info on these ancestors but can go no further. Will check into the info on Eleanor Hodson - So many Bright's in London area. I did find the 1841 census - keep hoping someone else is in this family tree with some information. Sorry its taken me two years to reply - I still find it difficult to get around in this site.
