I would love to find out how my Begbie family is related to the others.



My grandfather Peter Begbie was born in Edinburgh, but his father, grandfather and great-grandfather were all farm servants in East Lothian. His father, Thomas Begbie (b1845), seems to have grown up at Westbank farm in East Lothian, where his father John worked, and at that time his great-grandfather Robert Begbie lived in the village of Samuelston, parish of Gladsmuir. I don't yet know Robert's parents, siblings or other children.
