Default Lesser known facts of WW2

This is a good site for those interested in world war two. Many of the lesser known facts are revealed here. Did you know that Winston Churchill was only receiving £ 10 to 12,000 a year as Prime Minister ?

Did you know that the USA even sent a cruiser to South Africa to collect gold stored there, as payment for war aid, leaving Britain almost buncrupt. Such good friends we had !
