This is a brilliant web site and it's free
www.bmsgh.org/wmbmd/index.html the marriages are particularly good as it gives the year, bride & groom and the church/register office. If you click on the reference number you can download a form and send it off to the appropriate register office. Also, if you make a note of the reference number(s) which comes after the last forward slash, this is the entry in the parish register where you can view the marriage certificate at the appropriate record office.
Births and Deaths are trickier, as they can be registered in one place but either the baptism or burial could take place in a completely different area.
This is a public cremations/cemeteries web site in the Dudley Metropolitan Borough
www.dudley.gov.uk/archives on the left hand side click on "Researching your family history" next page scroll down to "Cremations and Cemeteries" click on "click here to search database" scroll down, click on "I agree" and away you go. You can also download a plan of any of the 7 cemeteries/cremations.
Have fun.
