When searching for children of known parents on IGI.. using the search form on International Genealogical Index.

Enter the fathers first name and Surname, enter the mothers first name...

Enter Region... Country and County... click on search..

you should get a list of all children with these parents names... then it is only a matter of pruning out the ones relevant to you...

... and entering a year 10 years +/- on from their marriage date works really well ... assuming that the first researcher did their job properly!

It's still worth gettiing 'official' records to support the IGI information as they seem to get Birth and Baptism dates confused ... IN MOST CASES!!!

I usually use IGI in conjunction with Scotland's People.
