Hi Don and Deejay,
This is an excellent database, but unless I've missed something there's no index for the volume numbers. This site should help make your searching easier. http://www.yorkshireparishregisters....htm#microfiche |

Hi Friely
If you click on the link it will take you to a list of available registers, Click on the one you want to view, this will open another page which has an immage of a constantly changing book. Click on this immage, this will open the book. To turn the pages just click on the right hand page. Hope that helps. |

Hi Friely,
First go to http://www.archive.org/search.php?qu...sh%20registers Most of the Yorkshire ones are on page 2. You will see after PUBLICATIONS they have a volume number. This site has an index explaining which volume number is for what area. For instance vol 166 is for Arksey. http://www.yorkshireparishregisters....htm#microfiche Back to http://www.archive.org/search.php?qu...sh%20registers Select the vol of interest, click on it and you'll get a picture of the register, to the right of the picture you'll see backwards and forwards arrows, from where you can move through the pages. I hope this is clear, if not get back. Good luck and have fun searching ![]() |

How do I find the parish records for Aysgarth then? That would have been the parish which covered Hawes and the surrounding villages I think, am I correct?
If I'm way off please let me know! Are they only available at Northallerton Records Office ? |
