You may just find one of your rellies here
"The Hampshire Chronicle is one of the oldest surviving newspapers in the country. It has been published without a break since August 24th 1772. In the early years, the Chronicle carried national and international news - before the arrival of the railways let London papers start circulating around the country. The 'From the Files' website contains a selection of stories and pictures from the past 233 years. More are added frequently - the most recent additions can always be found at the top of each decade section Last edited by Starlight; 30-06-2007 at 02:05 AM. Reason: New link in next post |

"From the Files" has a new web address. It's a useful and interesting site for Hants researchers. http://www.nqsouthern.com/digitalpub...x.cfm?dpid=231 |
