Banbury Book
Received through e mail this evening..........looks to be a very good book for those with Banbury connections or interests

'Banbury past through artists' eyes' to mark its 50th anniversary
It is a unique collection of some two hundred paintings, drawings and
engravings of Banbury, Oxfordshire's second town, mainly as it was in
the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. There is not a car to be
seen, though modernity does creep in with the sight of an 1850s
'Puffing Billy' at the then recently-erected railway station.
