Thread: Queensland BDM - Link of the month

Queensland have finally given us a searchable database for births deaths and marriages from 1829 to 1914. Gives basic information like New South Wales. Gives the all important registration number for ordering. Think you still need proof of identity to order certificates though, but better than having to buy the very expensive cd's to do look ups.

It's not too bad.

"Birth - historical access—anyone can access the records, where the event occurred over 100 years ago"

"Marriage - historical access—anyone can access the records, where the event occurred over 80 years ago "

"Death - historical access—anyone can access the records, where the event occurred over 50 years ago"
