Simon Hargreaves on this page http://www.yorkcastleprison.org.uk/k...prisoners.html was my gggrandfather's brother. I've visited the museum and seen the new exhibition - it's amazing. Lots of research has gone into it by a noted historian. Well worth a visit.

Thanks, Yorky. I already have that - I think I have EVERYTHING there is on Simon. The Yorkshire Post article was written with help from Katherine a noted historian, I helped Katherine a little with her research (putting her in touch with Simon's Australian descendants etc). Katherine has very kindly sent me copies of all resources she's used. I now have an amazing file on Simon.



If you live in Yorkshire, Yorky you must visit the exhibition - you won't be disappointed.
